C. Michael Short, ACT Master Tutor
Instructing the ACT programs for the I CAN Center of Excellence is Michael Short. Short is a Master Tutor in a number of subjects including the ACT and SAT. He scores in the 99th percentile on these tests. He is currently employed at the University of Louisville as a college coach for a new college access program, GO College--Louisville. He has worked in higher education since graduating from Campbellsville University in 1980.
He was employed by The Ohio State University at Marion between 2001 and 2011. During his tenure at Ohio State Marion, he expanded Marion’s local college access network I CAN Go to College into the current regional college access program the I CAN Center of Excellence, which serves the residents of Delaware, Hardin, Marion, Morrow, Union, and Wyandot Counties in Ohio.
